Ski Area Information
The sector of Pas de la Casa is the highest and sunniest ski resort in the Pyrenees, as well as being home to the best snow in the region. With the village height sitting at 2050m above sea level this virtually guarantees excellent snow from early December to late April.
The Pas De La Casa side offers excellent skiing for all levels with wide open Blues, Reds and some steeper more challenging blacks. It also offers excellent beginner area’s for adults, and the Mickey snow club for children.
The ultra modern lift system of Pas De La Casa links to nearby Grau Roig, and because of its north facing position, snow quality and quantity are nearly guaranteed. To ensure snow quality is always good they have also installed computer controlled, state-of-the-art snow-making machines which provides back-up when required. To ensure they have sufficient snow they have 1065 snow cannons within the Grandvalira area, and they can now boast the snow cannons cover 43% of the whole area.
With Pas De La Casa being one of the main sectors of Grandvalira and being linked to the nearby resorts of Grau Roig, Soldeu, El Tarter, Canillo and Encamp the ski area covers 193km of piste, and vast amounts of off- piste trails, it now competes with all of Europe’s top resorts.
Within the ski area you have 110 tracks, of which 18 are Green runs, 38 are blue runs, 32 are red runs, and 22 are black runs. The area also boasts 3 snow parks of which one is of championship level, 3 rail parks, 2 approved race tracks by FIS, 2 boarder cross area‘s and for children 2 Mickey snow clubs (one in Pas and one in Soldeu).
